"The boulevard citizenry distances itself from the violence of political waste"/ Balla publishes the photo from the protest

The head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Dashamir Shehi, commented on the process of selecting new members of the Democratic Party.
In a television appearance, Shehi described the inclusion of women and youth in the DP's leadership structures as positive, but added that this should not be sold as a renewal.
Among other things, he said that the protesting citizens are demanding the amendment of the Constitution that Prime Minister Edi Rama and Democratic Leader Sali Berisha made in 2008, and the amendment of the Electoral Law.
According to Shehi, Berisha does not like these demands.
"They have elected some young people, some girls, women, they have done well for me. Not that they will do anything, there is Berisha and there are 100 empty seats. The hope is that being young, God willing, they do not have a burden on their backs, in the hope that they will give it a boost, they will open up politics within the party. To have the opportunity to tell the chairman: Stop, this should not be done like this. But we should not create the false idea that politics will change because some young people have been elected. There is Berisha himself. Some principles have still not been respected. He says we have two women as council chairmen, but this is a position that is achieved through a career and political contribution. It is a kind of decoration, where both the artist and the architect, the young person are needed. But politically they are empty, they have no political substance, the substance is the one who has risen the ladder with contribution. I am already prejudiced, but I still say it is good that there are some new faces. The advantage "The advantage of these is that they don't have a burden on their backs. I call it positive from this point of view, but to sell me this as if this is renewal, no. Berisha said they want what we are asking for, a technical government, etc. No, they are also asking for some things that Berisha does not like, they are asking for the Constitution to be changed, which Berisha did with Rama in 2008, they are asking for the Electoral Law to be changed. He does not say that. I call it positive that he has understood that if you do not oppose this, you will also lose the popular base ," said Shehi. /CNA
