Any government or institution decision and any agreement that is not confidential will be public.

This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama declared at the 6th National Conference on the Right to Information.

The head of the government said that by the end of the year there will be a reversal of public access to information and decisions and agreements will be accessible to everyone.

"Every government decision, institution, every agreement that is not confidential must be public. Our common ambition should be to have at the end of the year a reversal of all the unsatisfactory content of the data for public access to information and for guaranteeing the right to information.

I believe we will succeed in this. Since it is the first conference I have come and I have made 5 absences, I will ask the Commissioner to make an interim one at the end of the year or at the beginning of next year to make a representation of this reversal. It should be a reversal, the information given should not be discussed, there is no room for discussion and it should only be implemented", emphasized Rama./ CNA
