Enkelejd Alibeaj, a few days ago, announced his departure from the DP parliamentary group, after the decision of the Court of Appeal, which passed the seal to Sali Berisha.

He said that he was leaving as a sign of respect for the decision of the Court of Appeal, but in fact the reason is different.

During an interview, Alibeaj said that society needs a new political structure that will happen soon.

So, Enkelejd Alibeaj has not left to respect the Court's decision but to join Lulzim Basha's new party, a move warned by CNA.

"There is an identity today in Albanian society that is known as a group of people who have firmly stood by fundamental values, such as relations with the West, justice, the concept of "non grata", the need that a democratic party will have to remove the symptoms of corruption once upon a time, and above all with the great need that the oppositions, in order to challenge Rama's regime, will have to have a different face and a new political offer.

For this reason, there is a political identity, there are political attitudes, there are also structures and human resources, which until yesterday were called the official party of the Democratic Party. Moreover, we also have a political program. So these are all the premises, even today the political history of this country requires this new formation. When it will be created, how it will be created and who will join it, this is another matter. I am of the opinion that this process will happen quickly and it will happen now", said Enkelejd Alibeaj./ CNA
