A 34-year-old man in Skrapar has been arrested by the police after being accused of firing a Kalashnikov firearm inside an apartment and endangering the lives of family members, for weak motives.

The event took place around 23:00, on 20.08.2023, inside an apartment in the village of Potom.

The arrested person is a 34-year-old man with the initials LT, a resident of the village of Potom, Skrapar.

He shot with a Kalashnikov firearm at the walls of the residence of the citizen SH, 61 years old, to threaten the family members of this citizen, due to a conflict for weak motives that he had with them.

The Kalashnikov firearm with which he was shot, and 21 combat cartridges, were found and seized by the Police, as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
