Today at 20:00, an opposition protest is expected to take place in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama will be demanded, after scandals and corruption cases. 

It is learned that around 1100 police forces will be on the ground. Meanwhile, the "Eagle" and "National Security Forces" forces will be stationed near the Pyramid.

The police announced that several roads in the capital will be blocked from 18:00 until the end of the rally.

The road axes that will be blocked are: "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Nënë Tereza" square, "Ismail Qemali" street, the intersection of Elbasan Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street, "Papa John Paul II" street, "Zhan" boulevard D'Ark" and "Bajram Curri" boulevard, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" Street.

The Tirana Police calls on all participants in the rally to distance themselves from any act that threatens their safety and life, and any act of violence against police officers, media representatives or the participants themselves.

Meanwhile, in front of the Prime Minister's Office, work has also started on the construction of the podium, where speeches will be held during the protest. /CNA
