Completion of secondary education/ Preparations for the 2026 State Matura begin

The State Matura Organizing Committee (KOMSH) has officially launched the preparatory work for the 2026 State Matura, a process of particular importance for thousands of students completing secondary education across the country.

In a meeting held with the Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, and representatives of the responsible institutions, the main points of the work plan were determined with the aim of guaranteeing a fair, smooth and transparent process for every high school graduate.

In her speech, the minister emphasized that during this year, measures will be strengthened against any violations, both by high school graduates who do not respect the rules, as well as by administrators and exam leaders, in order to ensure the integrity and credibility of the process.

Kumbaro also emphasized the importance of an information and awareness campaign in every school in the country, to clarify the rules, deadlines and procedures of the 2026 State Matura.

"With the responsibility that the KOMSH has to make this process clear and dignified for every Albanian high school graduate, a communication and awareness campaign will also be developed from school to school, to inform students, teachers and parents about all the rules and deadlines of the 2026 State Matura," said Minister Kumbaro.

The 2026 State Matura process will continue in the coming weeks with technical meetings, updating of instructions and harmonization of procedures in all regions of the country. /CNA
