Memorial of Azem Hajdari/ Rudina Hajdari: Stand up to fight corruption like my father!

Rudina Hajdari, the daughter of Azem Hajdari, could not be absent from the tributes paid today to her father, killed 24 years ago. 

In her speech to the media, she said that Azem Hajdari sacrificed his life for the freedom of Albanians, but today the situation is the same as 32 years ago, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of controlling all power.

She also invited Albanians to stand up and demand their right to freedom and meritocracy. 

“Sot nderojmë figurën dhe veprën e Azem Hajdarit që sakrifikoi jetën dhe rininë e tij për të çuar në piedestal idealet më të larta. Kur shumë njerëz kishin humbur shpresën që ndryshimi do vinte, Azemi u çua dhe sfidoi regjimin më të egër komunist dhe organizoi studentët në shesh me protesta dhe revolta. Azemi qëndroi besnik ndaj atyre parimeve dhe ai do mbetet nga figurat më të pastërta.Shqipëria sot ka ndryshuar fizikisht por politikisht mendoj që jemi në kushte shumë të ngjashme.

Shqipëria po kontrollohet nga një grup njerëzish me në krye Edi Ramën teksa shqiptarët kanë humbur të gjitha shpresat se ndryshimi do vijë.
