Sali Berisha: Azem Hajdar's work is more alive than ever!

The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, went to commemorate today the day of the fall of Azem Hajdari, who was killed today 24 years ago.

Berisha says that he is humbled by Azem Hajdar's work, but that his work is more alive today than ever.

“Përulemi para veprës së Azem Hajdarit, Ai bëri shumë për lirinë e shqiptarëve. Azemi përfaqëson fillimin e ndarjes së sistemeve, sistemin diktatorial dhe sistemi e vlerave. Për këtë akt Azemi u ekzekutua më 12 shtator 1998, nga vrasës me uniform, kapitenë e kolonela të regjimit. Por ai është dhe mbetet frymëzim i madh për shqiptarët, mbetet i përjetshëm në veprën e tij, Sot Azem hajdari me mesazhin e tij është më i gjallë se kurrë! Sot ne vendosëm ato kurora aty ku ranë Azem Hajdari dhe vëllau i tij Besim Çerja, por i vendosëm këto lule në kushtet e regjimit të plotë.”

Sakaq Berisha ka vijuar më tej duke thënë se vendi sot ka rënë në një monizëm edhe më të keq se sa ai që mposhtëm në kohën e Enverit.
