The High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani, welcomed today in a meeting the Prosecutor General at the Supreme Court of the Netherlands, Edwin Bleichrodt.

The latter was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Albania, Reinout Vos, Anne Tahapary from the Netherlands Judicial Training and Studies Center (SSR), as well as Edlira Osmani, Senior Policy Advisor for the Rule of Law at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Albania.

Part of the visit was the development of a High-Level Dialogue between the Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands, Edwin Bleichrodt, and the Inspectors and Assistant Inspectors Unit of the High Inspector of Justice (ILD), on the topic of "Judicial Accountability and Inspection Standards".

During this dialogue, the Dutch and Albanian experiences in the field of inspection of the justice system were widely discussed, and practices and approaches on professional standards and judicial accountability mechanisms were exchanged. /CNA
