From the agreement with Slovenia to the approval of several draft laws/New

The Council of Ministers held its next meeting today, where it made several decisions and approved several draft laws.

It is announced that the government has approved in principle the agreement between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Slovenia on employment and social security.

It has also decided to authorize the Minister of Justice to negotiate directly with the international entity G37 Chambers, for the provision of consultancy services, for the continuous monitoring of the implementation of priority recommendations in the fight against crime, for the year 2026.

Among other things, a decision was made on the procedure for the public announcement of cultural assets discovered at sea, and the decision to use the Reconstruction Fund to finance the reconstruction of individual homes in the Kurbin and Shijak municipalities.

The government has also decided to open the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.

Meanwhile, several draft laws were also approved at the meeting, which are:

-Draft law “On some amendments to law No. 9662, dated 18.12.2006, “On banks in the Republic of Albania”.

-Draft law "On some amendments and additions to Law No. 133/2013, "On the payment system"

-Draft law "On some amendments and additions to Law No. 55/2020 "On payment services". /CNA
