Paralysis of the system at the two customs points/ Cause, cyber attack from Iran

Albania has been hit by another cyber attack from Iran. This time the target of the attack was the TIMS system and as a result the system is out of order in at least two customs points.

In Kapshticë and Kakavijë since yesterday evening they are working with registers, manually.

The news was reported this morning and a few minutes ago Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that everything is related to another cyber attack from Iran.

According to Rama, the attack happened on Friday evening, while he assures that we are working around the clock to make our digital systems impenetrable.

Meanwhile, long queues have been created at the two border crossing points that connect Albania with Greece./CNA.al
