The IT expert, Besmir Semanaj stated that Microsoft's technical report on the cyber attack refutes all the statements of the state institutions.

In the show "Today" on "Euronews Albania", Semanaj said that based on the report, hackers have had access to the network since 2021.

Semanaj said that hackers began to increase their access and have caused a lot of damage and disruption of systems, contrary to what government institutions have stated.

"Microsoft's report technically refutes all the statements of the state institutions which were made in three cases. At the moment Microsoft reveals the stages of the attack, the first stage is the stage where access was created to one of the government network devices, which according to Microsoft has been since May 2021. We are dealing with a sharepoint server that was not updated, this flaw was present on the server in 2021.

The hackers created access to the server, then increased the access of users, being inside the network of AKSHI, the attack of other parts of the network has started. It is said that we have leaks of information, especially for the part of the emails that have been released between the period November 2021-January 2022. It is also another point where it is said that we have encryption and disruption of systems", the expert emphasized./euronews
