The criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, has revealed details from the strong statement of the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, who said on Friday that organized crime has threatened the family of a prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Invited to the Review show, Karamuço said that the threat is real and was made by a transnational criminal organization against a very important SPAK prosecutor.

Karamuço said that the prosecutor in question is investigating a wiretapping file, where there will be sensational arrests of criminals who we never thought could be arrested.

The expert revealed that the threat was made with direct contact to the family members of the prosecutor, who were followed by the gang's messengers.

"A week before that, two or three people knew that a very important SPAK prosecutor had been threatened by organized crime. The journalist Hoxha was the first to mention it. It is about a very serious threat that happened to a very important SPAK prosecutor who is investigating the communications of two or three very dangerous transnational criminal organizations. In the coming days, it is expected that there will be very sensational arrests of names that we did not think could ever be arrested in Albania.

There is a lot of pressure for this and threats will come. This threat was not by phone, it was by direct contact with family members. Family members are followed where they are and sent a direct message and this makes it more dangerous. This is one of the most serious cases that we have to think about how to better protect these people. Their family members have been discovered. SPAK's strikes will be merciless against organized crime, and a risk analysis should be done on what the response of these people could be," said Karamuço.
