Economy expert, Brisida Shehaj said that Erion Veliaj is killing the citizens of Tirana, since the air is carcinogenic and the water is categorically forbidden to drink.

During a presentation to the media, Shehaj said that Albanians pay taxes to end up killed by Veliaj because Tirana is unclean.

All this, according to Shehaj, has nothing to do with the ghost incinerator, but the capacities have been exceeded and the landfill of Sharra has been exhausted.

Among other things, Shehaj emphasizes that "Eco Tirana" does not have the capacity to clean the city of Tirana.

"Erion Veliaj is right because chickens and pigs are no longer slaughtered in Tirana, because the residents of Tirana are slaughtered in Tirana. We are slaughtered and above all we are killed. In the analysis it turns out that the air we breathe is carcinogenic, to say that water is categorically forbidden to be consumed. We pay taxes to Erion for Erion to kill us.

Why is Tirana dirty? This has nothing to do with the incinerator. The 'incinerator' that does not exist but the landfill is in operation, the waste is deposited there, it has another problem as the capacities it had are already exhausted. That land does not hold all the waste that is deposited. It would have to be that famous incinerator so that 60-70% of that waste would be burned and energy would be produced, the rest would have to be encapsulated and there would be space in the ground to continue to be deposited.

Tirana is cleaned by 5-6 companies. Eco Tirana was one of them. This year the Municipality of Tirana has decided to implement a point of the contract, which states that this company built by the municipality would take the monopoly of cleaning in Tirana. This is a company that has income only from the Municipality of Tirana.

Eco Tirana does not have the capacity to clean the city of Tirana. Even cleaning contracts have certain conditions and criteria. They simply do not have the tools and Tirana is simply in this state of collapse. All the money goes to Eco Tirana./ CNA
