16 young people from Dibra successfully completed an 8-month coding course, through which they managed to expand their knowledge and technical competences in the field of programming, while also having training sessions with career counselors.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, as well as the Minister of State for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, were present at the certificate distribution ceremony for the young people who attended this intensive course.
In the conversation with the young people, Deputy Prime Minister Balluku said that it is important that the knowledge and skills they benefited from this course are already put into practice. "It is very important to apply all the knowledge you received, because it was not a simple course of a few weeks, it was almost a whole school year. You are committed, you have invested, the government has invested, donors have invested, there was also commitment from the coaches, so you definitely need to start putting the knowledge you received into practice", said Balluku.
The Deputy Prime Minister further added that for the Albanian Government innovation has special attention. In this direction, the Innovation Agency has also been set up, which has already started to give the first results. "Given this priority of the Albanian Government to give voice to innovation, to support it with logistics and infrastructure, filling the ranks with young men and women, I would say that exactly this nucleus of 16 dibras has the opportunity to to start and exercise the knowledge he got at the municipality, at the state institutions, and you yourself as individuals with new ideas with start-ups", stated Balluku.
For her part, Minister Muzhaqi emphasized that through this course young people have already expanded their knowledge, having even greater opportunities for employment.
"The fact that we now have 16 well-prepared young people, who are ready for the labor market, some of them had a desire for the technology part, while another part wanted to try a new field and now that they have had this opportunity to try , I believe that they will have even more access to the labor market. The good thing about this market is that even from here in the city, an internet connection is enough and you can directly work for the world market, it is not said that you only work for the local market, which we are used to doing in many other professions. said Muzhaq.
For the mayor of Dibra, Rahim Spahiu, the municipality will support young people who have innovative ideas and want to implement them./ CNA
