Yesterday, Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi announced that Oljan Kanushi will be at the head of the State Intelligence Service, but as a deputy.

The latter will replace Helidon Bendon in this task.

Kanushi is not a curved name. What is known is that he previously worked as an adviser to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Kanushi is part of the list of officials who have changed their names. It is not known for what reason, but the man who is now in charge of the secret services, in 1999, changed his name.

By decision of the Municipal Council of Tirana dated May 21, 1999, Olian Kanushi has changed his name to Oljan Kanushi.
