After turning on the lights, Korça has become one of the most popular holiday destinations, captivating tourists from all over Albania.

The festive atmosphere, colorful decorations and the liveliness of the city have left visitors amazed by the experience of a night full of emotion. A tourist from Vlora says that Korça welcomed them with a special magic.

"We come from the beautiful city of Vlora. Fantastic atmosphere, we were amazed, we really liked the atmosphere. We moved not only here in the center, but also to the bazaar, which we enjoyed. We saw the lights turn on and we are very happy to be here today. We came as a social group from Vlora ," she said.

Meanwhile, another lady from Korça brings back nostalgia for her hometown, even though she has been living away from her city for years.

"Fantastic Korça. We arrived, stopped at the hotel, went out to the old bazaar, counted until the lights came on. I grew up in Korça, it's been years since I left but I really liked it. We are a social group that goes hiking and we all came to Korça," said the citizen.

The southeastern city is experiencing a boom in visitors, who are not only attracted by the lighting of the fir tree, but also by the warm atmosphere, music, gastronomy and traditions that make Korça one of the most beloved holiday centers in the country. /CNA
