The atmosphere of the end-of-year holidays is increasingly being felt in Albania. Today, Korça, considered the capital of end-of-year celebrations, turned on the holiday lights.

The Mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, said that from today the city will take on a magical appearance that will accompany it throughout the month of December and the first days of January.

Filo said that, like in other years, the number of visitors to Korça is expected to be high. He also added that all accommodation capacities in Korça have been reserved, sold and booked. At the end of his speech, the mayor wished health and prosperity to every Korça and Albanian family.

"Today is a special day, just like at the beginning of every December, Korça lights up with holiday lights and takes on a magical appearance that accompanies it throughout the month of December, transforming into the capital of end-of-year holiday celebrations in Albania. The atmosphere is magical, but it is not only the atmosphere brought by the decorative lights, but it is also a calendar rich in activities that will accompany us throughout the month of December and the first days of January. I believe that this December, just like in other years, we will have many visitors, friends and different visitors from other cities in Albania and from outside Albania, who will choose Korça as the destination for their holidays and celebrations. It has been a while since all the accommodation capacities of Korça have been reserved, sold, booked, and I hope, as I said, that we will have a magical atmosphere that will accompany us throughout this month.
