An 80-year-old man is suspected to have drowned in the Devolli river.

It was the 50-year-old man with the initials TA who informed the operating room that his father, citizen RA, 80 years old, resident of the village of Rrenas, Belsh, is suspected to have drowned in the course of the Devoll river.

The latter, since 31.08.2023, had left the apartment and never returned.

The Police Services immediately went to the given address and together with the family members started searching along the course of the river.

The family members stated that the RA citizen had mental health problems. 

The search continues throughout the course of the river, with the aim of finding the body of the 80-year-old./ CNA
