As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the Women's Center "Hapa të Lehtë", in collaboration with the renowned actress Ema Andrea, organized the theater play "Lullaby of Awakening".

Based on the short play by author Revelly Robinson, this play focuses on the voice of women and the often invisible realities of violence, using art as a powerful form of social awareness and reflection.

"This activity is carried out within the framework of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence and domestic violence. It is an activity that focuses on women and their dramas. We decided to call it the Awakening Lullaby in order to give strong messages ," said Denada Shpuza, director of the "Easy Steps" Center.

The Deputy Mayor of Shkodra, Teuta Qyteza, said that the key to success is only denouncing violence.

"As a representative of the Shkodra municipality and as one of you, I congratulate anyone who deals with women and girls and their rights. The key to solving the problem is denouncing violence. We must be much more in support and solidarity with women. Our problem is silence, we must be against silence. As mothers, we must teach our children to love and above all respect girls and women ," said Teuta Qyteza, deputy mayor of the Shkodra municipality.

Through the artistic performance, the attendees experienced strong emotions, focusing on the prevention of the phenomenon of gender-based violence. /CNA
