MP's denunciation: Flooding, pollution in Seman and silence from

Democratic Party MP Luan Baçi has denounced the pollution of the Seman estuary. In a post on social media, Baçi writes that the recent rainfall has highlighted tons of urban waste in the Seman estuary, causing environmental pollution in the surrounding areas.

The MP states that the municipality of Fier and the Ministry of Environment are aware of this situation, but according to him, they choose to remain silent.

The recent rainfall has not only covered entire hectares of farmers' cultivated land, greenhouses with a variety of products, and roads in many areas of Fier with water, but has also left residents, both in the city and in the countryside, without drinking water, bringing silt and mud to their taps, but has also exposed tons of urban waste in the Seman estuary, severely polluting the environment of the surrounding areas!

I believe that the Fier municipality and the Ministry of Environment are aware of this serious and catastrophic situation for the environment, but as always, they pass over the scandals in silence and continue to exploit the situations created by nature, for as much profit and abuse as they can, at the expense of the taxes of the citizens of Fier and all Albanians!
