Events in Zvërnec/ Protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office

A protest is taking place today in front of the Prime Minister's Office against construction in Zvërnec.

This is the second protest taking place after the events that occurred on May 30 in Zvërnec, where there were clashes between citizens and employees of a private security company.

Prime Minister Edi Rama also reacted to this issue, saying that the events that occurred there were serious, while condemning the violence against the protesters.

Among other things, Rama said that slander from some quarters, including Greek newspapers, made him feel as if they were allies with Albanians, unlike reality.

He also emphasized that such large investments are for the good of the country and increase the Gross National Product. /CNA
