The Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, reacted on Saturday evening, regarding the event that happened in Korça. Through a post on Facebook, she writes that she is getting better from the doctors for her health

"The doctors of the Burn-Plastic Service at QSUNT are doing the best they can for Melissa, the daughter, the mother of two small children from Korça, who was brutally attacked today by a cowardly "man", who should have been her arms to support her in the growth and education of her children, but today in an insidious manner she decided to return to her aggressor, the mother of his children.

As I encourage the institutions responsible for his arrest and maximum punishment, I am with the family of Melissa. No one should experience such pain.

We will stand against violence and support all those women who become victims of these "men" who deserve maximum punishment. This is a battle that no one can win alone, so together we must work hard and do the impossible, to prevent events like today's" - writes the minister/CNA
