Journalist Artan Hoxha, invited to Erla Mëhilli's "Now" show, spoke about the anti-drug operation finalized by SPAK in cooperation with Finnish authorities. Hoxha said that the traffickers belonging to Durrës were bringing the drugs directly from Latin America.

Hoxha then stated that part of the profits from the sale of narcotics came to Albania and this has put European institutions on alert. The journalist revealed that after the Covid pandemic, the demand for drug consumption has increased by 2.5 times.

Regarding drug sales in the Spain-Netherlands-Finland triangle, Hoxha discovered that sales in Helsinki bring in 3-4 times higher profits.

" The triangle was Spain-Netherlands-Finland. The groups that were for Durrës brought it directly from Latin America, they have contacts with their people in Finland and Spain. Part of the profits came to Albania, this has brought the alert.
