Father Kristaq Mërtiri, a close friend and fellow minister of the deceased, shared the last moments of the life of priest Kristaq Viso. He said that the tragic event occurred during a volunteer work on the roof of a church, where materials were being prepared for the restoration of the Çiflig Monastery.

"That day he climbed onto the roof of the church where I serve, to remove some sheet metal that we were going to use to restore the monastery in Çiflig. The church was very dilapidated because it was made of wooden panels and they were damaged by condensation and could not hold weight. That day Kristaq worked a little, he dismantled all the sheets and while running back, a hole had opened and he fell inside the church. That was the whole story. It is rare to find a person like him ," said Father Kristaq Mërtiri.

Father Kristaq Mërtiri considers Kristaq Vison an exemplary priest who performed his duties with great devotion, as an active and very energetic man, staying close to the citizens at every moment.

" As a priest, he was an exemplary priest who performed his work with the greatest devotion, his duty to God and the people he served. Priest Kristaq Viso passed away yesterday morning, after several days in serious condition in a Tirana hospital due to injuries sustained from his fall from the roof of the church of the Holy Trinity.
