On the eve of Easter/ Archbishop Arjan Dodaj, message to the believers

On the eve of Catholic Easter, the Archbishop of Tirana and Durrës, His Grace Arjan Dodaj, has shared a message for all Albanian believers.

Archbishop Dodaj said that Albania needs men and women who love this land and its people not with words, but with lives lived here. During his speech, the Archbishop also had a message for politicians in our country.

"Therefore, today it is essential not to give in to evil but to sow concrete hope. Albania needs honest men and women who love this land and its people not with words, but with lives lived here. It needs a responsive conscience that does not accept corruption, injustice, and marginalization as something normal. This is a wish for everyone, and even more so for those who bear political, economic, and social responsibilities, to see the future of the country with foresight and responsibility, since they are the first to have had many of the good things from this country, of which they rejoice or are proud, but the sun does not rise only for them.  The sun and light, the wealth of this country are for everyone, since God has entrusted us with a wealth and responsibility for which we will give an account. We are called to be administrators, and not owners of the country and its wealth ," said Archbishop Arjan Dodaj.

We remind you that believers will participate tonight in the mass held at the Cathedral of "St. Paul" in the capital, under the leadership of the Metropolitan Archbishop, His Grace Arjan Dodaj. The mass begins today at 21:45 and lasts until 01:30 tomorrow morning. The night before, hundreds of Catholic believers gathered at "Mother Teresa" Square in Tirana where they celebrated the Stations of the Cross. /CNA
