Edmir Kapidani, an early supporter of DP, who held various positions in the administration, has passed away.

The captain was the head of the Durrës Branch for three terms, 1992-1994, 1998-2001, 2001-2004.

He was also a member of the Durrës Municipal Council in the first elections of 1992, deputy. Minister of Education and other posts in the administration.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha also reacted to the death of Kapidani.

Through a post on social networks, Berisha states that Edmir Kapidani is one of the most prominent activists of the Democratic Party of the Durrës Branch and was a politician of great value with a prominent contribution in the fields where he worked.
