A fire is active in Lura National Park, which continues to spread rapidly due to the wind.

The Minister of Defense, Nikop Peleshi, announces that Air Force personnel and the Cougar helicopter have been sent to control the flames.

Peleshi informs that the situation is serious, but so far there is no danger for the apartments.

However, the minister declares that the work is continuing with intensity for the complete neutralization of the flames.

"The Air Force personnel and the Cougar helicopter immediately left for the National Park of Lura, following the request of the local authorities of Dibra to control the flames in this area. The situation is serious due to the difficult terrain and the wind which favored the spread of the flames. Up to this moment there is no danger for the houses, while intensive work is being done for the complete neutralization.
