A 39-year-old woman was caught with a large amount of undeclared money while leaving Albania at the border point of Kakavija.

On the way out of the country, the 39-year-old woman with the initials KQ was passed for control in the second line. 11,150 euros were found in her bag, which this citizen was trying to take out of our country, without declaring it as required by law.

Proceedings began in free status for the 39-year-old woman, a resident of Berat, and the amount of money was seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further action, for the criminal offense "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border"./ CNA
