Oil decreases by 5 lek/ Transparency Board publishes new prices

As of noon this Wednesday, the hydrocarbon market in Albania has undergone changes. The Transparency Board has officialized the new table of sales prices, which has come into effect since 1:30 p.m.

According to the latest decision, oil in the domestic market has decreased by 5 lek per liter.

Thus, oil will be traded at retail with a maximum ceiling of 190 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is limited to 178 lek.

Regarding gasoline, consumers will pay no more than 179 lek per liter at gas stations, while the wholesale price has been set at 167 lek per liter.

The authorities have made it clear that these figures are mandatory for all market operators, until further notice from the Board. Any further changes in international markets will be reflected in future meetings of this institution.
