"Environment poisoned by politics"/ Rama: Progress in the fight against corruption is indisputable

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Public Procurement in Albania, a meeting was held today with the presence of representatives of national institutions, international partners, as well as procurement professionals, in a discussion on developments, challenges and vision for the future.

In his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama emphasized that Albania's progress in the fight against corruption is indisputable.

"I came here with pleasure today, because it is really about a radical transformation, which needs to be highlighted and communicated as much and as well as possible in an environment very poisoned by politics, by half-truths that are also the biggest lies, as well as by certain episodes that show the full will of the Albanian state to fight on all fronts with the great and inherited problem of corruption and do not in any way show that in the fight against corruption, progress is questionable because in fact our progress in the fight against corruption is indisputable. This is also clearly shown by the fact that the data overviews of all new procedures of recent years have a very visible difference with those of a few years ago", said Rama./ CNA
