Albania and Kosovo, in the joint meeting of the two governments have signed several cooperation agreements.

The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, as a project with important national values, singled out the construction of the railway that will connect the two countries.

The construction of the Tirana-Pristina railway will create the opportunity for Albania to give all the access that Albania has to the Mediterranean Sea.

"It is a project that will not only connect the two countries by rail, but also through the concept of two ports, the port of Durres and the dry port of Pristina. It is a very modern concept that has been implemented in very developed countries in terms of trade ", said the Minister of Infrastructure for Euronews Albania.

Balluku said that competition remains to be opened to have a winning company to carry out the project. The Minister said that it is predicted that the railway can be completed within a time frame of 4 years./Euronews albania
