The head of the Chamber of Advocates in Shkodra, Anton Kosteri, spoke this afternoon about the new court map and the revolt of lawyers against the changes.

Kosteri said that the lawyers will make a protest on June 22 in front of the prefecture of Shkodra Region.

He invited the citizens to join this protest, as he stressed on Syri TV that he will continue the fight for this cause to achieve that the Shkodra Court of Appeals stay where it is.

"Today it has been noticed that there have been no developments in the court proceedings in Shkodra. Perhaps some lawyer imported from Tirana, who for his own interests, has participated. This is a very small number.

Shkodra Bar Association in the last meeting decided that on June 22, in front of the prefecture of Shkodra Region, we will hold a civil protest and invite citizens and important actors, everyone wants to join us against the decision of the HJC.

Letting them know that we are not just a group of lawyers fighting for our personal interests, after all for our own interests it is legitimate, but above all to protect the interest of the public and the dignity of Shkodra and those who we represent ", said Kosteri.
