With bare feet/ The moment of Marklen Haka's confrontation with Toni Vocaj

Marklen Haka, a member of the 'Nikla Gang', who was arrested on Thursday during an action in Nikël of Fushë-Kruja, after the arrest was sent to the Tirana Police Directorate. 

Barefoot and under handcuffs, in this institution, he was confronted yesterday by chief policeman Tonin Vocaj, who was leaving the building.

In the published images, he seems to be saying something to Voca, but it is not clear what he communicated to him. Vocaj shook his head and then met other officers, while "Nikla's strong man" was escorted inside the directorate.

Marklen Haka is not an unknown name for the State Police. In the police files, the 33-year-old was arrested several times for various criminal offenses, while he was the target of two gun attacks.

The criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", "Structured criminal group", and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization", "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder", "Group of organized criminal", and "Participation in a structured criminal group", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", in cooperation, in the form of a structured criminal group. 

Haka also survived an assassination attempt in 2019, where his aunt, 50-year-old Shpresa Basha, was killed, who protected her grandson with her body. 

Marklen Haka ended up in prison for the first time when he was 20 years old, suspected of a serious criminal offense, that of murder.

He was arrested on June 29, 2011, suspected by the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana as the author of the murder of businessman NZ, on the evening of June 13 of the same year, in one of the bars in the former Block in the capital.

On September 12, 2018, Marklen Haka was arrested together with his father and two other people, in a sensational operation, during which special forces surrounded Nikla and several other villages of Kruja, escorting dozens of people, but who managed to found only a few illegal weapons. In connection with this arrest, Haka was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment.

With a decision dated April 9, 2019, the Court of Kruja sentenced Haka to 1 and a half years in prison, but with a shortened trial he was finally sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment. He completed his sentence in July 2019./ CNA
