At 19:00 the voting for the election of the Mayor of Himara officially closed.
Voting opened at 07:00 and citizens went to 36 centers to elect their mayor.
In these elections, 23 thousand 74 citizens of Himara had the right to vote.
Vangjel Tavo from the Socialist Party and Petro Gjikuria from the opposition are running for the City Hall.
According to the results declared so far by the CEC, the number of voters was higher than in the elections of May 14, 2023.
On May 14, 2023, 7,821 people, or 34.27% of the voters, voted in Himare, while in the elections of this August 4, 8,394 citizens, or 36.38% of the voters, voted until 18:00./ CNA
