Lorenc Vangjeli: Gülenists would take power in Albania
Analyst Lorenc Vangjeli

Analyst Lorenc Vangjeli commented yesterday evening on the two currents of Islam in Albania, as he spoke about the inauguration of the Namazgja mosque and the statements of the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In a TV appearance, Vangjeli gave Erdogan the right for the Gülenists and said that they have brought a current that worships the leader.

He stated that the Gülenists, like a silent army of a soft invasion, tried to take power in Albania and infiltrated the legislature, government, armed forces, business, as well as the banking system.

According to him, this could have happened if they had not been banned.

"The discussion that takes place in Albania, I have the impression that it confuses us on every account. There is talk of two currents, in Albanian Islam, being told from the beginning that in the relations between the two countries, whoever thinks that the Islamic believers who are the bridge of brotherhood with Turkey is a wrong, anti-patriotic criminal belief. No, the Albanian people, the Turkish people, two faiths.

In 2016, the indifferent Albanian society, despite strong signals, talked about a new type of religion of Islam, in Turkish it is very tangible 'Gülenism', a religion that worships the leader, while Islam does not include the worship of leaders.

This silent army of soft invasion had infiltrated the legislature, government, armed forces, business, banking system, etc. A society of the Masonic type, to do what they tried to do in Turkey, the silent invasion, in Albania without our knowledge, they had almost done it.

What happened in Istanbul in July 2016, the clash between Erdogan and the Gulenists, freed Albania from a terrible danger, the extent of which we do not know, with our ignorance we have remained silent and we do not know. It was even worse.

This would cause the soft invasion of the Albanian state, by an organization that acted like a silent army that had penetrated everywhere. The danger is that they would take power and rule a country. Albania was one of their laboratories to take power, what they tried to do with Erdogan, but they broke with each other. In Albania, they would have done it very easily, such a small country could have broken its knees, so today we would not be talking like this", the analyst emphasized./ CNA
