Erdogan delivers the news/ Turkey, military training and weapons for Albania

Turkey will provide training and support with military equipment for the Armed Forces of Albania.

This was announced by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in the joint conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"Last year we celebrated 100 years of establishing diplomatic relations with Albania. Our friendly relations with Albania, strengthened by historical ties and cultural proximity, extend beyond a century. We see the initiatives in the field of trade and investments as steps that will increase the welfare of the people, we continue efforts to increase the trade volume to 2 billion dollars in the first phase. We agreed to diversify mutual investments including innovative sectors. We will continue cooperation in the field of medicine. We will provide support to improve the needs of the FA, our strategic partner and our NATO ally in the field of military training and military equipment," Erdogan said. 

Prime Minister Rama confirmed the same.

"I appreciate President Erdo?an's gift in these turbulent times where the world has taken a strange direction to put it mildly, to give the Albanian army a significant number of kamikaze drones. Unnecessary gift nobody should worry about who Albania will hit, but I believe that it is a gift that encapsulates a clear message from Turkey in relation to this relationship, that Albania is invulnerable", declared the head of the government./ CNA
