Erion Braçe, the opposition voice in the position, has denounced the damage that is being done to the Karavasta Lagoon in Divjakë, which he calls the biggest ecological drama.

Braçe explains that for two months, together with the Municipality of Divjaka, they have been monitoring the mouth of the Lagoon and are horrified by what they found, the departure of the sea, creating an interruption with the lagoon.

According to the socialist deputy, this comes from the change in the bed of the Shkumbin River, since this separation has continued since then.

Brace has called on the institutions to intervene urgently to stop this great damage that is being done to the environment.

"It looks magically beautiful, but it is the biggest ecological drama!

Do not be with any living thing in it! It has been four years that, together with the Municipality of Divjaka, this last year we have been even more intensively making every state office and every high political and executive official aware of this, so that this does not happen!

They listened to us, I'm not complaining, they listened to us but they did nothing.

We have been monitoring this mouth of the lagoon for two months and with the last monitoring, we were terrified yesterday.

The lagoon's communication with the sea is almost cut off.

We did not and we owe this to anyone, moreover, to every empty-headed, incompetent, arrogant person who knows everything but not what is happening in the territory.

This is the damage they have done.

They started an empty fist many years ago when they changed the bed of the mouth of the river Shkumbin, from that day the sea started to leave and the result is here.

What about now?
