It is reported that the Special Prosecution Office has taken under investigation the prison police who transferred the arrested mayor Erion Veliaj from the Durrës detention center to the GJKKO.
The investigation began after during the transfer, Veliaj took the phone from one of the employees and made calls.
During questioning, the officer admitted that he gave the phone to the mayor and said he did so out of fear./ CNA
