Important meeting of the head of the Diving Federation, Igli Pustina

The head of the Albanian Diving Federation, Igli Pustina, held an important meeting with Colonel Fiqiri Hoxha, head of the National Search and Rescue Center. The focus of the meeting was the engagement of operational structures and the cooperation between the National Search and Rescue Center and institutions.

The head of the Diving Federation, Pustina, expressed his readiness to assist in search and rescue operations and emphasized the importance of the federation in training activities. This meeting marks an important step in strengthening search and rescue capacities in the country.

The details of the meeting were announced by the National Search and Rescue Center through a post on social media.

" At the invitation of the President of the National Search and Rescue Center (NSRC), Colonel Fiqiri Hoxha, a meeting was held with Mr. Igli Pustina, President of the Albanian Diving Federation.

During the meeting, the search and rescue service in the Republic of Albania, the state's obligations in this field, as well as the engagement of operational structures in SAR operations were discussed. Special attention was paid to the inter-institutional cooperation between the National Rescue Committee, state institutions, volunteer teams and private entities.

Mr. Igli Pustina appreciated the invitation for cooperation and expressed the readiness of the Albanian Diving Federation to assist in search and rescue operations at sea and in the internal waters of Albania. He emphasized the importance of the Federation's involvement in training, promotion and SAR exercises, increasing operational capacities and coordination for the most efficient intervention in emergency cases.
