"We will continue to work honoring the memory of the blessed

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has congratulated His Beatitude Ioannis on his election as Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all of Albania.

Through a post on the X platform, Mitsotakis says that they will continue their work honoring the memory of the late Archbishop, Anastasios.

 

" I contacted His Beatitude the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania, Joan, and congratulated him on his election.

"Our shared belief is that the Church of Albania is a point of unity and mutual understanding between the two peoples. We will continue to work towards this goal, honoring the memory and work of Blessed Anastasios ," Mitsotakis wrote./ CNA
