The Foreign Minister of Greece, through a phone call, congratulated His Beatitude Ioannis on his election as Archbishop of the Albanian Orthodox Church.

Dendias wished His Beatitude success in his mission and to continue the important work of Archbishop Anastasios.

"In a telephone conversation with the new Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, Mr. Ioannis, I congratulated him on his election. I wished him success in his pastoral mission and that he continue the important work of the late Archbishop Anastasios ," Dendias writes./ CNA
