KPA dismisses the case and upholds the confirmation of the Tirana prosecutor

The Special Appeals Chamber has unanimously decided today to dismiss the case against the prosecutor of the Tirana Prosecution Office, Gëzim Nushi.

The decision was made by the panel of judges headed by Sokol Çomon, rapporteur Albana Shtyllën and three members: Ina Rama, Mimoza Tasi and Rezarta Schuetz.

"The panel of the Special Appeals Chamber, composed of Sokol Çomo as chairman, Albana Shtylla as rapporteur, Ina Rama, Mimoza Tasi, Rezarta Schuetz as members, announced the decision on case no. 17/2024, dated 21.05.2024, which concerns the appeal of the Public Commissioner against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission, no. 735, dated 31.01.2024, relating to the subject of re-evaluation Dritan Nushi.

At the end of the trial, the panel, based on Article 4, point 6 of Law No. 84/2016, “On the temporary re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, and Articles 451, letter “b” and 463 of the Code of Civil Procedure, unanimously decided:

Discontinuation of the review of case (JR) no. 17/2024, on the appeal of the Public Commissioner against decision no. 735, dated 31.01.2024, of the Independent Qualification Commission, concerning the reassessment subject Dritan Nushi.

This decision is final and has immediate effect.
