Smuggling of cell phones with staggering figures/ 3 beratas end up in handcuffs

The State Police has seized 95 suspected smuggled mobile phones, worth about 3,700,000 new lek.

Coded police operation "Phones" ends.

The operation, from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Section of DVP Berat, in cooperation with the Berat Prosecutor's Office.

They were caught selling mobile devices, suspected of being smuggled, 3 citizens are being prosecuted.

95 mobile devices were seized, with a total value of about 3,700,000 new ALL.

Specialistët e Seksionit për Hetimin e Krimit Ekonomik dhe Financiar të DVP Berat, në bashkëpunim Prokurorinë pranë Gjykatës së Rrethit Gjyqësor Berat, në vijim të punës për parandalimin, evidentimin dhe goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale të kontrabandës me mallra të ndryshme, bazuar dhe në informacionet e marra në rrugë operative, organizuan dhe finalizuan operacionin policor të koduar "Phones", si rezultat i të cilit u proceduan penalisht shtetasit:

- M. Sh., 31 vjeç, banues në Kuçovë, administrator subjekti;

-N. H., 24 vjeç, banues në Berat, administrator subjekti;

-A. B., 33 vjeç, banues në Berat, administrator subjekti.

During the control exercised in the 3 entities (stores) that these citizens managed, 95 mobile devices of different brands, with a total value of about 3,700,000 new leks, were found and seized as material evidence, for which these 3 citizens did not they had the relevant tax invoices.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offenses "Trading in contraband goods", "Concealment of income" and "Non-payment of taxes and duties".
