Minister Belinda Balluku announced that the task force for the control of illegal connections will start on October 1 and the target will be to reduce the monthly energy consumption by 15%.

We are at 20% energy loss, we intend to reduce it to 16%. We are in a time of crisis and illegal connection should not be allowed, therefore the task force will be in every country. But the task force will start from the institutions. In institutions there will be an energy administrator to supervise the efficiency of electricity in the institution. The target we will set for each institution through a normative act is to reduce monthly energy consumption by 15%.

Prices of confiscated buildings will be above an important coefficient. If the first buys the building, it will not be at the declared price as there is informality, but there will be a coefficient that will be set per square meter. You can't buy a square meter in the center for 1,700 euros, because we know that the market price is not that much.' - said Balluku./ CNA.al
