The security council "descends" in Tirana/Xhaçka: A member

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, hosted the Informal Working Group of the UN Security Council, on Documentation and Other Procedural Issues (IËG).

According to Xhaçka, the world does not have the luxury of having a Security Council that is unable to perform its primary task, that does not guarantee world security.

 "It is unfortunate that in many cases the Security Council appears to be dysfunctional. Sometimes it is paralyzed and rendered impotent, unable to act just when the world needs it most.

I am talking about the unprovoked aggression against Ukraine being carried out by a member of the Security Council who, this is indeed a very bitter irony, is abusing his role as the guardian of world peace and security by blocking the Council for the sake of his illegal expansionist agenda and for the sake of a direct attack on the order based on international rules", said Minister Xhaçka. /CNA.al
