Renowned director Osman Mula has responded to the chairman of the "Mundësia" party, Agron Shehaj, regarding his statement demanding the closure of RTSH, as according to him, no one follows it and it spends 30 million euros a year from Albanian taxes.

In his response, the director writes:

I read Mr. Agron Shehaj's proposal on the closure of the Albanian RTSH and I was concerned by this proposal that even in the party campaign calls on who knows who to close and apparently later to build towers or God knows. The performances, the recitals, the documentaries about Vlora and all of Albania, the national heroes, the historical figures and so on.

The RTSH budget is not maintained with state investments that you think will be returned to the people. Now this institution is maintained with a tax of 100 lek that is taken once as an annual tax that is paid together with electricity and water.

YES, the institution needs a redesign and reform, not party directors who are replaced at the beginning of the year for abuses, but competent managers so that finances go to the right destination, creators do their best in the time slot, spectacles and films are produced, international sports broadcasts are returned to RTSH, because that's where advertising comes in, since this institution has a sports editorial office with competent journalists.

Reduce some stations that are not productive and do not produce anything. Everything can be fixed if you have good will and know the institution inside out, increase the salaries of the employees and the orchestra because they have big differences with other stations. These employees built the other stations yesterday thanks to their experience and it is up to all of us who love that institution to do our best to lead the market.
