Request for lifting Balluk's immunity/ Mandates Council meets today

The Council on Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity will meet today, December 19, at 10:30, to review the request of the Special Prosecution Office regarding Belinda Balluku.

SPAK's request to the Assembly to lift Balluk's immunity was filed on December 16, 2025.

The request was submitted to the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, who immediately forwarded it for review to the Council on Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity, informing the MP and the Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.

The Council will review the request and then draft a report, recommending its approval or rejection, which will then be distributed to MPs for review./ CNA
