Jonaid Myzyri under investigation/ Details, his phone was requested, what

New details have emerged from the interrogation of the head of the Public Procurement Commission, Jonaid Myzyri, who was summoned for the third time by the Special Prosecution Office.

According to what was reported on Syri TV, Myzyri was asked for his phone but told investigators that he did not have it with him.

Myzyri has been informed that he is a person under investigation and that starting today he will have to appear before investigators whenever necessary.

His name has been registered in the criminal proceedings register for a long time.

The indication to investigate his role as head of Public Procurement has to do with referrals made to SPAK by the Supreme State Audit Office.

SPAK is investigating a series of tender procedures related to the facility they had for the construction or reconstruction of roads where the contracting authority was the Albanian Road Authority.

The suspicions are that a criminal offense has been committed, violation of equality in tenders and abuse of office./ CNA
