SP and DP in Korça messages for Easter holiday

On this significant Easter Sunday, local leaders in Korça have conveyed their congratulations to Christian believers and all citizens, appreciating the spiritual importance and symbolism that this holiday conveys.

Local institutions have described Easter as a blessed day, bringing with it the message of the victory of life over death, of the awakening of hope and faith for better days.

The political leader of the Socialist Party for the Korça region, Niko Peleshi, chose to place citizens at the center of this significant day.

"Happy Easter. White Easter! I prefer to leave the joy to the citizens today, at least today it's not the politicians who speak but the citizens."

The Mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, in addition to his congratulations, showed the symbolism and values ??that this holiday conveys.

"Today is a special day for all Christian believers in the city of Korça and all of Albania. The Easter holiday has a very great symbolism within it, which symbolizes the awakening of hope and faith for better days. So today I want to wish all families, Christian believers and not only, a happy Easter, more health and prosperity to all of you. Christ is risen!"

The Chairman of the Korça District Council, Erion Nexhipi, congratulated this holiday of resurrection with warm words.

"Happy Easter to all Christian believers, on this blessed day where life triumphed over death."

From the opposition, congratulations have focused on the symbolism that the Easter holiday carries for the entire society. The political leader of the Democratic Party for Korça, Ivi Kaso, has emphasized the need for more hope in the hearts of people and for a better future for Albanian families.

"Christ is risen! Happy Easter to all believers, to all citizens of the Korça region and all of Albania. On this day, on the most important holiday of the entire Christian world, the birth of Christ symbolizes the birth of hope in our hearts, in our homes. I wish prosperity and goodness to everyone, reminding everyone that hope symbolizes change and when the need in people's hearts for hope for change is real, God is with them. Happy Easter to all!"

A warm congratulation also came from the DP candidate for deputy in Korça, Kristiano Koçibelli.

"Happy Easter! On this holy day, I wish all Orthodox believers and all believers throughout Albania wherever they are. May this Easter be blessed, prosperous and peaceful for all Albanian families. Happy Easter!"

The Mufti of Korça, Ledian Cikalleshi, participated in the official congratulations, emphasizing the importance of religious coexistence and solidarity between communities. He emphasized that the holiday takes on full meaning only when the congratulations go beyond faith and become part of the civic culture that unites us as a society. In his message, he emphasized that just as in days of joy, even in difficult ones, we are stronger when we are close to each other.

"On the occasion of Easter, we were here today and as soon as we expressed our congratulations, we conveyed the part of the civic duty that always characterizes us, where we congratulate the communities on their holidays. Normally, it is one of those great holidays that the Orthodox community and all communities in Albania and in the Korça area, and around the world have. Even when we have our holidays, the respective communities come and congratulate us and this is one of those beautiful things that characterize us because the holidays are not beautiful if we do not congratulate each other, and we are not all present with congratulations next to each other. Likewise, even when we have difficult moments, the pain is not eased if we are not next to each other. With this philosophy, we have tried to show that respect and I wish once again to all Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant believers throughout Albania, a happy Easter. May your families have the happiest holidays possible!"
